Your
Manifestation Ally: Creativity
Since the
explosive movie "The Secret" that brought the Law of Attraction into our
collective consciousness, the word "Manifestation" has captured our
imagination.
While many of
us associate manifesting with an extraordinary or even magical process of
making our dreams come true, the Webster dictionary defines "Manifest" as
follows:
1.
(perceivable) readily perceived by the senses and
especially by the sense of sight.
2. (obvious)easily understood or recognized by the mind.
I propose to you that the dictionary is correct and that
understanding this apparently dry definitions will actually illuminate the
Law of Attraction.
When you have a dream or goal, you want something that
is not yet manifest (perceivable) in your life. It is not perceivable
because it is not localized in time or space. It is not visible yet.
If you have a clear vision of it in your mind, however,
then your imagination perceives it. Your imagination can engage your
creativity to create it in the physical world. That's the process by which a
vision becomes a painting or a building, a feeling a dance or poem. The same
process used for creating art is used to manifest your dream into reality.
Sometimes, however, what you want is very new to you. It
is something that you have not experienced ever. It is even hard to use your
five senses to perceive it in your imagination. For example, you may want
wealth, but you've been poor all your life. You may want to find a
soulmate with whom to have a deep, loving relationship, but you've had
terrible relationships in the past.
In this case, the mind may resist what you want. Your
logical mind cannot comprehend The Unknown. It works with knowable
data. It stores previous experience to categorize new ones. That's how you
feel safe and in control. To face a mystery is threatening to this mind. It
will then do three things:
You can see how this is going to spoil your
Manifestation Party!
In this case, you need to use your creativity to
envision your new life and to create a bridge from the familiar to the
unfamiliar.
In both cases, creativity is the key tool. Now you know
why as an artist, I can help you. I create creative tools and experiences to
help you manifest what you desire.
Your Enemy:
Attachment
I have observed that we create energy
Attachments to
certain emotional states, situations, people or thoughts. I’ll lend you my
eyes so that you can see how a shaman sees Attachment.
Energy fibers extend from your solar plexus and enmesh with certain
thoughts, feelings or situations. Any time you are presented with another
possibility, even if it’s the one you want, these fibers hold on to the
energy patterns they have Attached themselves to. You then repel these
possibilities.
Why would you
repel something you deeply desire? Because the new experience and the
beliefs necessary to sustain it pull on the energy fibers you have attached
to the old experiences. As these fibers tense, you feel that they are
tearing. At that moment, you feel as if you are being torn apart. You feel
that you are losing something that is part of you.
Remember,
these are your energy fibers that you wrapped around those old experiences
and beliefs. These fibers contain feelings and memories connected to this
scenario.
Now you feel
scared, so you resist. What I am seeing at that moment are your energy fibers holding on to the old energy
patterns. This Attachment constantly recreates similar situations in your
life. As a result, you are unable to manifest the change you want. If you
are Attached to fear, for example, you cannot manifest love.
Attachment
is your Manifestation enemy.
Creativity is your Manifestation ally. It
allows you to use your imagination to create an internal reality so tangible
that your energy fibers can be re-routed towards this new experience.
The other part
of your Manifestation process is releasing. This is the Path to Freedom.
Freedom allows you to release your destructive
Attachments and embrace your new life.
Freedom and Creativity are
the two hands of Manifestation.
Your
Manifestation Ground: Self-love
Manifesting is
bringing into the external, visible reality what is already a reality within
your heart. It is equivalent to the seed that blossoms into a full tree. I
refer to this seed as your Success Seed.
The ground for
your Success Seed to blossom is love. This includes love
for what you desire. The more you love it, the stronger your passion to
manifest it. It also include self-love. In fact,
self-love is the very ground where your dream grows.
Most people
dream. What distinguishes those who make their dreams come true from those
who let them die? My answer is self-love. Those who
do not love themselves unconditionally rarely manifest their dreams because
they secretly believe they don't deserve them. Even if they believe they
have a strong self-esteem and they have all the skills and experience
necessary to succeed; they will sabotage themselves. They have not been
granted Permission to Suceed.
There are
Seven Basic Permissions to Suceed, and they are all strongly connected
to Unconditional Love.
In conclusion, the thoughts, emotions and energy patterns you choose to “wed” determine if
your soul dances its dream into creation or weeps in longing, trapped in the
past. Creativity, love and freedom are the allies that help you wed your
dream and release your limitations. This is the meaning of the ring finger
in the Dream Alchemist's hand; the finger that stands for Manifestation.
What are your
manifestation needs?
